Anne Burnell Fitness is focused on the fitness and well-being of special populations.   We have developed training and institutional programs for the chronically ill, the disabled, and older adults.

Programs Peyow Aqua Pilates™, Aqua Stretch Foundations™, and Stronger Seniors.  These programs are certified for Continuing Education Credits by the American Council on Exercise, the Aquatic Exercise Association, and the the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute.

Anne Pringle Burnell created and developed the Peyow™ Aqua Pilates program which premiered at the Peninsula Spa Chicago in 2001. She is Certified by the American Council on Exercise, Aquatics Exercise Association, AquaStretch™ , Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, Nia Technique Black Belt, and Stott Pilates™ .  

Ms. Burnell is an instructor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Elements in Motion, a Stott Pilates™  Training Center.

Anne has been a featured presenter at national and international conferences including: International Aquatic Fitness Conference, the International Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute Symposium, the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the National Council on Aging/American Society on Aging Joint Conference, Northwestern Memorial Integrative Medicine Women's Health Conference, and SCW Fitness Midwest Mania.

She is a Faculty/educational provider for ATRI, AEA, ACE, AFAA, AquaStretch™ and Stott Pilates™ .  She developed the Stronger Seniors™ Workout Program for older adults and people with disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions.
