Australian Freediving Association

AFA is a not for profit organisation dedicated to the sport of freediving and is Australia's official AIDA representive. The International Association for the Development of Apnea (AIDA) is the worldwide federation for breath hold diving. The AFA is responsible for sanctioning all competitive freediving within Australia and recognition of all Australian National Records. We promote recreational an...d competitive freediving, ratify records, maintain Australian rankings and work towards the promotion and growth of freediving in Australia. We are also responsible for team selection in freediving world championships.
