Armed with a keen sense of fashion practically woven into her DNA, it is no surprise that Tracey Gruber has an ability to look at a total stranger and pick outfits for her that said stranger would not likely choose for herself. While it might be uncouth for a journalist to insert herself into the story, I experienced this first hand at Gruber’s Blue Dangles Boutique. I went in skeptical – a bit of a midtown snob traveling begrudgingly OTP (outside the perimeter) to Johns Creek – but she quickly worked her magic and I left surprised and smiling with a bag chock full of items and the insight that this woman has a talent for acquiring eye catching pieces (couture and accessories) that look like they were whisked straight from the pages of Lucky Magazine or In Style. And what made this shopping experience even more unique is that her collections are global, ageless (a girl in her teens and a woman in her sixties can shop here), and stylish. What bliss to find forward thinking couture at a reasonable price point in a boutique.
