Branson School Online(BSO) is a Colorado state accredited online school and a proud member of Branson School District RE-82. Branson School Online is free for Colorado residents in grades Kindergarten - 12th grade. Serving Colorado families since 2001.
Branson School Online provides Caring Colorado certified teachers, quality curriculum aligned with state standards, and continuous communication with parents/guardians in support of student learning. Our students are able to pursue all their interests and advance academically. With the support of their teachers and counselors they design and manage their schedules, focusing on their course requirements, and harnessing the technology to provide flexibility. Branson School Online is noted for small class sizes, engaging teachers, supportive counselors, and accessible administration. With the benefit of an active Parent Advisory and Accountability Committee the administration and staff actively pursue improvement continuously in the organizations processes, procedures, and performance. Additionally,so that students can access their classes our district provides computers on loan to students for doing their school work and provide technical support. Recognized by the Colorado Department of Education as having the Online Elementary Teacher of the year for 2009/2010 school year and then in 2012 having one of Branson's Counselors recognized as well shows the quality of our staff. Students graduate from Branson School Online High School with the skills, discipline and preparation to be successful in their post secondary efforts. Students graduate from Branson School Online prepared to enter their chosen college, trade school, or moving forward with their life plan for community support/service and entering the workforce in a range of professions of their choice. High School students who are eligible are able to simultaneously earn college credit while working to attain their high school diploma. These students develop many strengths including independence, responsibility, time and project management while they are still supported by their parents and the staff of Branson School Online. Colorado residents can have their students attend Branson School Online regardless where they live. Students must have access to internet and phone to allow them to join their virtual classes with their peers and highly qualified and caring teachers but they can do so wherever they are.
