We provide a monthly electronic Newsletter, and frequent NewsFlashes that keep our members up to date on the latest news relating to the above issues.
We provide news that allows people in the above communities to take advantage of new benefits or programs created by California law or state government policies.
For example, we persuaded the California Franchise Tax Board to let post surgery transgender people to take state income tax deductions as a medical expense for sex reassignment surgery. We then widely publicised the new policy.
