Cycle King and Hawk Cycles

The business developed into a family of more than 23 stores, adopting the name "The Cycle King"; in the early 80's. Hawk Cycles bicycle factory was acquired in 1994, continuing to manufacture quality, value cycles until 2010 then merging with Cycle King to create the online and physical retailer you see today.

In 2016 we were joined by our Group Retail Managing Director, Darren Hunt who now heads up the day to day operation which encompases all of our retail elements. We have seen a lot of changes over the past few years as we embrace the very best of multi channel retailers grow in the ever changing retail landscape.

A family business to the core, Nicholas and his son's still form a large part of the leadership team to this day, working together to provide the best value and experiences for Cycle King and Hawk Cycles customers whilst proudly retaining the title of the UK's largest family owned bike retailer.
