Meet Debbie Evans-

A native of Atlanta, Debbie started her professional career in the hospitality industry attending Georgia State University during those exciting years when the city won its' bid to host the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.  After an internship at the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Evans launched a group travel marketing program for Atlanta's DeKalb Convention & Visitors Bureau, staying with the destination marketing organization through the completion of the 1996 Games and ascending to the position of Vice President of Leisure Travel.  Like many in her field, Evans suffered from "post Olympic blues" and began looking for new adventures along the Eastern Seaboard.  A challenging turn-around opportunity and the beauty of Annapolis drew Debbie to the heart of the Chesapeake, where she remains today.

Career Summary-

Evans’ career has taken her from the floor of Germany’s largest travel trade fair to the top of Spain’s tallest roller coaster.  Through 2006, Debbie served as Six Flags, Inc.’s corporate director of communications providing strategic counsel and oversight of the company’s 39 parks worldwide.  After her tenure at Six Flags, Evans gained valuable agency experience working with leading brands including KSL Resorts, Marriott, Staples, Target, Levolor Kirsch and The Home Depot.  A love of thrills, a passion for organizations she believes in, and a desire to spend time with family provoked the launch of her specialty marketing group in 2008. Evans is a graduate of the Georgia State University School of Hospitality Administration and currently resides on Kent Island.
