[D]Movement 2

Did you know that Detroit is in the top 10 as one of the fastest growing tech cities in the world, at least as far as Meetup numbers go? We are in good company with Paris, Toronto, Hong Kong and Melbourne. Come to the D-Movement 2 and see some of the local Meetups that's making a difference in the D.

The D-Movement is back and this year it's all about Meetups! For those not familiar with the term, a Meetup is a meeting, especially a regular meeting of people who share a particular interest and have connected with each other through a social-networking website. There's a bunch of cool and inspiring things to see in Detroit but you don't have to look for them because they are coming together for one night at the VisTaTech Center on April 12th on the campus of Schoolcraft College.

Forget the misconception that you have to live in Detroit to make an impact. Let's face it, when good people come together to collaborate, great things can happen. Meetups are wonderfully inspirational events and can create some pretty innovative ideas. Not to mention the positivity it encourages. We'd like to honor these people because, well, they just have a big part in helping Detroit grow. Come out to the D-Movement Conference and find out what Meetup is for you or maybe organize your own meetup. It will be a party.
