Damascene Pierre Paul, born in Port-Au-Prince Haiti and raised in Philadelphia, PA from the age of two. Damascene started his entertainment career managing an opening act (KayCe) for Sister Sledge in 1983. The act KayCe was one of the first to combine rap and singing groups known in the early 80's. Studying film and acting, at the historic school Henry Street Art of Living Center and at the famous Frank Silvera's workshop which helped develop his talents’ and foresight for the entertainment world, which lead over the years to many different projects with Spike Lee and his company 40 Acres And A Mule; on such films as Jungle Fever and Mo' Betta Blues.
