John R. Christensen was the featured speaker at the Charlotte Dental Society Annual Winter Meeting February 22. Dr. Christensen presented material from infant oral health to autism to managing unerupted anterior teeth.
Athletes do not wear mouthguards unless they fit. UNC dental students decided to break the cycle. They contacted Jordan High School of Durham to volunteer their expertise. Athletes left with custom mouthguards and Guard Your Smile was a success.
Dr. John Christensen and Dr. Sonny Long have been invited to share their pediatric and orthodontic expertise at the 50th Celebration of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. They will speak on trauma and soft tissue lasers.
