The EUsatcom association was founded in spring 2014 as a new and independent non-profit organisation in Europe to keep satellite professionals and companies up to date with the latest developments in the European satellite industry and to offer a platform for professional and business networking.
EUsatom was initiated by representatives of NLsatcom and BSN-SSPI and a group of satellite professionals during the EUsatcom Conference 2013 in Amsterdam. We are inspired by and asscociated with the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) in the US. Currently with 300+ European members, EUsatcom is growing to become a leading European satellite industry community.
Our background lies with discussions between satellite professionals that started during a number of conferences in Amsterdam in 2012 and 2013 and that resulted in the establishment of the Association early 2014.
