Evangeline Gomez, Esq. is counsel to the firm Fahy Choi LLC.  Ms. Gomez concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, small businesses and non-profit organizations.  She represents clients in divorce, child custody disputes, pre–nuptial agreements, domestic violence, DYFS child abuse and neglect cases and termination of parental rights as well as small businesses and non-profit charitable organizations.  Ms. Gomez’s work has included numerous appeals, including a published decision, Department of Youth & Family Services of New Jersey v. D.H. and J.V., 398 N.J. Super. 333 (App. Div. 2008).  Ms. Gomez served as the Chair of the Paterson Education Fund and is a member of Hyacinth AIDS Foundation.  She sits on the Board of Trustees of Rutgers University and is the co-founder of Student Achievement Network.  Ms. Gomez frequently speaks to groups about leadership and the importance of public service and also to board members and officers about their responsibilities and fiduciary obligations under state and federal law.  Ms. Gomez graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her law degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.   She is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court of New Jersey.
