About Green Log Home Inc.:

Natasha and Fred Ruckel are the creators of the original: Green Log Home – Changing the way we live™.

Their goal is to educate others about the best ways of making small changes to their current lifestyles, eventually leading to greater cost savings, a self-sustained existence, a healthier home and a reduction in global warming. Green Log Home Inc. was created in response to the growing number of confusing and misleading 'Green-washing' campaigns, and catchy 'Green-advertisements’ targeted at consumers.

The ‘Green Log Home’ initiative came about during the early part of summer 2007, when Fred and Natasha Ruckel decided to build their own eco-friendly home.

The Ruckels’ goal is to build an eco-friendly home for no more than the median cost of an average family home in New York State. The Ruckels came to a realization while they were looking into the best ways of building a completely green and self-sufficient home: building a ‘Green’ house contributes to greater cost savings and well-being in the home. They decided to share their experiences and the lessons learned with others.
