Govistics is a project of the Center for Governmental Research, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization based in Upstate New York working to improve government and school district efficiency and effectiveness.

Govistics features U.S. Census of Governments and FBI Unified Crime Reports data for 54,000 local governments and school districts across the country. It's the web's one-stop source for spending, revenue, employment and crime data, allowing users to explore, compare, download, and track historical trends.
