Founded in 1975, Ipsos is the only independent, publicly‐listed company in the research field that is managed by research professionals. Ipsos begun as a French company has grown beyond its French roots and had achieved continuous improvement. The growth has been both organic growth as well as an aggressive strategy of acquiring companies who shared Ipsos Vision.

Since 1990, Ipsos has expanded into more than 84 countries worldwide through either creation or acquisition. The growth has been built with both internal and external funding, including the stock market. Ipsos debuted on the Paris Stock Exchange on July 1, 1999. Ipsos currently is 3rd largest research company in the world.
