About

Impact Thrift Stores is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization based in Hatboro, PA. Founded in 2001, Impact Thrift exists to raise funds for local charities through thrift store operations.

Since the Fall of 2001, when Impact Thrift opened the doors to its very first store in Hatboro, PA, the philanthropic, non-profit organization has made Montgomery/Bucks County communities a better place to live and work, by developing business practices that strengthen the lives of local residents. At any one of the three store locations, Impact Thrift graciously accepts gently-used clothing, housewares, furniture and other donated items and the net proceeds from the sales provides financial support to a variety of local charities, to include: Manna on Main, Bethanna, Bethanny Christian Services, Chosen 300, Jewish Family and Children Services, Jenkintown Day Nursery, Blind Relief Fund, Chelten Counseling Center, Chariots of Hope, Children’s Jubilee Fund, Cradle of Hope, HealthLink Medical Center, Interfaith Housing Alliance, International Health Services, Lakeside Girls Academy, North Penn Boys and Girls Club, Sustained Acts, and Young Life.

Impact Thrift’s financial support of these local non-profits enables their staff to spend more time doing what they do best…feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and supporting children and families in need.
