About

Promoting people and their passions in the arts and music business.

Targeted campaigns - Relationship management - Building awareness - Project Management

I’m passionate about music making and its benefits. My life has been enriched by membership of my local choir and my enthusiasm and ability to get on with people has led to me working in music and arts PR.

Working in Internal Communications for Lloyds TSB on a variety of projects and making many corporate TV programmes, gave me great insight into professional communications. Having taken a break when I had my son in 2001, I kept my CV alive with voluntary work acting as a Patient Representative at the local NHS Primary Care Trust, helping to run the local Diabetes UK support group and latterly, getting involved with the publicity of my choir, Leatherhead Choral Society.

We compete in the Leith Hill Musical Festival and I love the community spirit embedded within it. In 2007 I re-launched their newsletter and in 2009 became publicity manager successfully building relationships with local media to increase our visibility. I am currently re-branding the Festival publicity material.

Professional engagements have come from film director Tony Palmer, Gillian Humphreys and the Concordia Foundation, composer and Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Singers Bob Chilcott, poet Charles Bennett, the UK’s largest choral society, The Really Big Chorus and Sing UK.

Running targeted media campaigns and building brand awareness for them all, media successes include: Classic FM interviews and podcasts, coverage in classical music press and national newspapers, interviews on BBC Radio 3 In Tune, BBC Radio 4 Midweek, ITV Meridien and ITV London Tonight. I run the social media pages for Bob Chilcott and The Really Big Chorus.

It’s not just my clients who have been featured, I’m a confident speaker in radio and TV interviews and did voiceover work for Tony Palmer in his film The Wagner Family.
