Joppa Communications helps passionate idealists connect with their audience through honest marketing. Okay, so what does all that mean? Well, it means that we like working with people who have a passion for what they do and who want to make the world a better place. And it means that we help you tell your story and market what you do in a way that is true to you. Our goal is to help you find your marketing voice. Sometimes, all you need are the tools and techniques to do it yourself. Other times, you need someone to take a few things off your plate so you can focus on the heart of your business. Either way, we work with you to make sure you get exactly what you need to make your marketing resonate with the folks you wan to reach.
How We Do It
At Joppa Communications, we get to play a lot of different roles. We are strategists, writers, students, teachers and huge fans of your work. We know our stuff and really love online marketing -- especially social media. But that's not going to accomplish much without the other half of the equation: you. When it comes to the work you do, you're the expert. So we work together to create a marketing program that works for you. Our ultimate goal is to show you exactly how it's done so you can soar on your own. But sometimes, you just need someone to take a few things off your plate. We're happy to do that too. We love to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. At the end of the day, we will do whatever needs to be done to help you reach your goals.
Why We Do It
We care about our community. We love helping people realize their dreams and make a difference. We have worked with nonprofit organizations as staff members, volunteers and consultants. We have also worked with small businesses, both on staff and as freelancers, and have learned a ton running our own businesses. We know what it is like to be self-employed. We know what it is like to be a one-person development and marketing department at a small nonprofit. And we know how challenging it is to work with limited resources and how invigorating it is to come up with creative solutions. There is no other work we would rather do.
