Formed in 1952, the Junior League of Wilmington, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization of nearly 300 women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its primary focus area is providing educational and cultural opportunities to local children who may not otherwise have access to them. JLW members give over 10,000 hours of volunteer work to the community annually.
