"Google" Kathie Kerr and you will find her name as a company representative speaking on behalf of celebrities like Dear Abby, Cathy Guisewite, Jim Davis and Garry Trudeau. As assistant vice president of communications for Universal Press Syndicate, she received plenty of experience managing both the fun and the crisis management side of working with nationally syndicated cartoonists and columnists. Behind the scene, Kathie led solid marketing and public relations campaigns for the companies which entrusted her with image and branding.
Most recently, Kathie and her team just completed a 28-city promotional tour for America’s Veterinarian, Dr. Marty Becker and his new book, “Your Dog: The Owner’s Manual.” Dr. Becker appears on Good Morning America and The Dr. Oz Show.
