About

Larson-Danielson Construction Company, Inc. is a corporation established in the State of Indiana. The firm was incorporated in 1908 by two brothers, Charles and Frank Larson, and their cousin, Emil Danielson. Prior to this, Charles Larson, a millwork contractor, and Emil Danielson, a mason, had been partners. During the first generation, the company built historic projects that are still in use today, including the Rumely Hotel in 1913 and the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ’s Ancilla Domini Motherhouse in 1922.

Since its inception, Larson-Danielson has been a general contractor. During the 1950’s, the corporation ventured into the ready-mix concrete business and home building, but now concentrates solely on construction of commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, primarily in Northwest Indiana.

Now in its fifth generation of leadership, the company is among the top general contractors in the State of Indiana today. With annual volumes reaching over $100 million and over 150 employees, we have the capacity and capabilities to tackle any job for any client. In addition to maintaining its roots in general contracting, the company has also become one of the leading firms in Design/Build and Construction Management in the region.
