August 19, 2013 – Boca Raton, Florida - Attorneys Rick Murdoch, Scott A. Weires and Eric J. Neuman are pleased to announce the recent formation of Murdoch, Weires & Neuman, PLLC, a law firm dedicated to providing effective, efficient legal services to its clients.
Founding partner, Eric Neuman says that the new firm’s attorneys offer the experience, professionalism and expertise of “big firm” lawyers, with the individualized client care, flexibility and accessibility found in a boutique setting.
The law firm is conveniently located at 14 S.E. 4th Street in the heart of downtown Boca Raton, Florida. The firm’s attorneys have over 60 years of combined experience practicing law. The firm will represent businesses and individuals, with a concentration in the areas of real estate and business transactions, commercial litigation, construction law and community association law.
Rick Murdoch has resided in Boca Raton for nearly 40 years. He has a large commercial and residential real estate practice, having represented numerous companies, governmental agencies and individuals in connection with the purchase, sale, and leasing of their properties. He also has substantial experience in advising clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, and related business transactions. Rick has been included in Florida Super Lawyers in 2010-2013 and has a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent. Rick is Past Chairman of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, and continues to serve on the board of the Chamber’s Golden Bell Educational Foundation. Rick is currently Vice Chairman of the George Snow
Scholarship Fund, and serves on the board of directors of the Boca Raton Public Library Foundation. Rick is also past vice chairman of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation.
A Florida native, Scott Weires has practiced as a trial attorney since 1996. He has successfully defended Fortune 500 clients in jury trials involving upwards of $100 million in alleged damages, has appeared as lead counsel in more than 40 separate consumer class actions throughout the country, and regularly consults clients regarding business conflicts, real estate and land-use disputes, and significant personal injury claims. He is a Florida Certified Public Accountant, although currently inactive.
Attorney Eric Neuman is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York and New Jersey. He has extensive experience in complex litigation, with a focus on real estate and construction issues. Prior to forming Murdoch, Weires & Neuman, PLLC, he practiced with prestigious national and regional law firms. Eric was recognized as one of the Top Up and Comers in the 2013 edition of the South Florida Legal Guide and has been selected for inclusion in Florida SuperLawyers Rising Stars in 2010-2013 as voted by his peers.
