The Miami Parks Foundation was founded by Rosy Palomino, Miami parks activist, pet lover and elementary educator, the first-ever, citizen-directed, organization designed to preserve open spaces and vacant land for public use as parks for residents like her who live in the City of Miami.
The first goal of the “Miami Parks Foundation” is to inform the public about park activities and generate public interest so that parks can matter again.
