About

Founded in 1998, Muse Entertainment is known throughout North America and internationally as a major producer of well-crafted, high-quality film and television productions with strong international appeal.
Muse Entertainment produces a wide range of dramatic series, television movies, mini-series and family programs for major networks around the world. Many of Muse’s television productions have garnered critical praise and large audiences – as well 93 international awards and 297 award nominations!
Muse has a large volume of projects in development and in production with free and cable television networks in the United States as a result of the opening of Muse’s Los Angeles offices in 2007.
Muse has become one of the most active companies in the world in co producing television projects with international partners because of its knowledge of the laws and practices of many countries as well as its deep knowledge of Canada’s tax credits, television funds and other forms of financial assistance.
Under Canada’s official film production treaties, Muse has produced with companies in France, England, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Morocco, Australia and South Africa, amortizing costs of production over a wider audience base and qualifying for the fiscal advantages offered for official co-productions. Muse prides itself on its ability to bring creative, artistic, technical and financial resources together.
Muse has development and production offices in Montreal, Toronto and Los Angeles as well as a sales office in London, UK.

Michael Prupas is Muse Entertainment’s President, CEO and Chairman of the Board. Joel Rice is President of Muse Entertainment USA. Jesse Prupas is Vice-President of Development and Distribution and Irene Litinsky is President of Production (Quebec). Cynthia Kennedy, based in London, is Director of International Sales.

Muse has a staff of experts in project development, production, post production, publicity, legal and business affairs, financial structuring, tax credit collection, government and union relations, internet and multi-media as well as sales and distribution.

Muse’s 10,000 sq. ft production office in Montreal is architect designed, fully renovated and minutes from downtown and Old Montreal. The office is also very close to Montreal's largest studio sound stages, post-production and special effects facilities.
