Mustardseed Ministries Internat'l is a health and creative arts outreach ministry, directed by author-educator-filmmaker, Charlotte Sista C Ferrell. Founded in 2003, MMI events use poetry, music, film & visual arts for cultural celebrations, peacebuilding & education. MMI collaborates with individuals, other ministries, community organizations and businesses to plan programs, such as retreats to develop inter-generational peer ambassadors/educators. It hosts an annual MLK Day of Service project; a creative arts celebration of Women's History Month and monthly poetry, storytelling and, inter-faith arts activities for children. In collaboration with community or church groups, it co-hosts film screenings and public forums on pertinent issues such as homelessness, access to food and healthy lifestyles. .
