NW Sustainable Building Products provides extremely high quality cedar, juniper,tropical hardwoods and other fsc certified products for out door building projects.  NWSBP is also a full service general contractor specializing in deck and fence construction with a lean toward sustainable products and techniques.  Formed from the remains of D and V lumber in 2009 NWSBP has led Portland in GREEN building supplies and installations of beautiful and long lasting outdoor structures.
The philosophy is to tread lightly in the forest, only return when necessary, build it well and preserve it well.  You don't need to rebuild every 10 years if you maintain and care for the structures outside.  Then you will not have to keep taking from the forests.
The management of NWSBP is committed to the cause. We recycle all wood that is beyond it useful life.  We have a "ZERO WASTE LAND" rule.  If it can be composted, re-used, re-tasked, etc... We will take the time to make it happen.  Operating GREEN is a policy and it is taken seriously by the staff of NWSBP.
