Who We Are:
The New York Interagency consists of representatives from the regions leading public agencies and utility companies

Our Mission:
To bring together the designers, planners, and builders of the NYC region’s infrastructure to exchange ideas and information concerning common problems

What the NYIEC provides:
Annual Technical Conference
The Annual Conference is an all day conference devoted to a particular topic of interest. The conference includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and a reception at the close of the conference. A CD rom compilation of the presentations is distributed to all attendees. AIA credits are also available for attendees. Previous topics included:

Regional Transportation Infrastructure
Rebuilding Lower Manhattan
All NYIEC member agency attendees receive a discount on admission

Annual Luncheon
The Annual Luncheon is open exclusively to member NYIEC agencies. Every year a distinguished keynote speaker is invited to talk about issues that affect the New York City Region. Past key note speakers included:

Katherine Lapp - Executive Director, MTA
David Burney - Commissioner, NYC DDC
Patricia Lancaster – Commissioner, DOB
NYIEC member agencies receive free invitations for up to 8 staff members

Quarterly Meetings
Quarterly meetings are the vehicle for the day to day operations of the council and include presentations on topics of particular interest to member agencies based on the hosting agency’s unique knowledge and perspective of the topic.
NYIEC member agencies are eligible to attend and participate in the management of the council

Cost
The current fee is $500 per agency/year
