Our Foundation for Children, Inc.

Our Foundation for Children is a University City – Charlotte organization dedicated to guiding our local K-12 students toward a successful adulthood.  Education is one of our keystone efforts.  Our program, Right Start School Backpack, provides under-privileged children, within our community, school supplies necessary to achieve a successful academic year.  This year, 300+  University City - Charlotte residents came out for our event where we distributed backpacks filled with grade appropriate school supplies as well as additional supplies in paper bags.  The event is traditionally held at the T. C. Elder - Rockwell Park, with lots of laughs, food, and fun had by all.  This was truly a fitting way to begin the school year.
