Pet Project for Pets is a nonprofit 501 c 3 that provides pet food, pet supplies and pet meds for those who are terminally ill, disabled, handicapped, live with Hiv / Aids, senior citizens on a low fixed income and victims of violent crime or accidents so they can keep their pet. We are a "Step Before a Shelter" for many animals while we preserve the Human / Animal bond. Pet ownership has proven medical benefits and their pet is sometimes the only friend a person has. Our mission at Pet Project for Pets is to do all we can to make sure that those who are suffering from financial hardship due to illness, accident or from older age are able to keep their pets. We provide a monthly food bank in both Broward County and Dade County for our clients to pick up their supply of pet food and needs. We deliver to those who can not come to our food banks. We also provide referals to reduced cost veternarian services for our clients.
