The Preservation Trust's mission is to preserve and protect the rich historic and architectural character through education, advocacy and direct action in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
The Historic Preservation Trust:
• Is a force and a voice in the community for preservation
• Identifies properties that are in jeopardy before monitoring and advocating for them;
• Remains a preservation resource for owners of historic properties
• Maintains an extensive archive of information on historic properties in Lancaster County;
• Assists property owners with tax credits and easement preparations
• Partners with like minded organizations that have preservation at their core
• Creates historic preservation education programs
