About

Known as the “mother of me-time” wellness expert Rebecca Scritchfield is living her passion of inspiring people to take back their health.  Through nutrition counseling, speaking, and media, she advocates a balanced lifestyle that encourages self-care. Rebecca believes the real “secret” to having more energy and getting what you want out of life is making time to eat well, getting exercise, and having fun.

As a nutrition therapist, she helps clients “detox” themselves from the “all or nothing” mindset that drives them to go on and off unrealistic diets. She helps people embrace “it’s not what I weigh, it’s what I do” to build positive, feel-good habits and gain confidence in their wellness.

In addition to private counseling, Rebecca is creator of several web-based behavior change coaching programs specifically for women, including The Diet Detox, Fuel My Life, and Leadership Energy.

Rebecca has reached millions through television, radio, print, and web including: Today Show, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, The Washington Post, Prevention, Women’s Health, and Runner’s World.

She is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University master’s degree program. She is a registered dietitian and a certified Intuitive Eating professional. In 2009, she was honored by American Dietetic Association as “Young Dietitian of the Year.”
