The Regenerative Technology Alliance (RTA) is a US_based, globally-focused nonprofit trade association. The RTA brings together the three critical components of this expanding field:

* Science
* Technology
* Medicine

The purpose of the Regenerative Technology Alliance is be to provide governance and peer oversight to the field of regenerative medicine, science and technology through:

Development of global Standards for laboratories processing human tissue and biological components for use in research and clinical applications and for clinical facilities providing treatments and therapies as part of formal clinical studies and as part of the practice of medicine.

Management of a global Certification Program based upon RTA Standards that will evaluate, assess and certify the clinical and laboratory practices of facilities engaged in research and utilization of cell-based applications.

Collaboration and partnership with local, state and national governments (US and abroad) to assure transparency, oversight and quality controls in the field of regenerative technology.

Management of an HHS registered Institutional Review Board to evaluate new and innovative medical treatments and therapies.

The mission of the RTA is to be a strong and unifying voice in the emerging field of regenerative technologies; to bring together the leaders of this field to develop true global standards for the processing and application of human tissues and cells used in the field of regenerative medicine; to provide leadership to effectively self-manage and self-police the industry; and to actively engage with regulators and health agencies to develop a third way model for the safe translations of cell therapies from the bench to the bedside.
