About

Riccardo Accurso, known as Ricco, is a designer and maker of fine jewelry. He creates all the jewelry by hand.
Clients may choose from the jewelry featured on his website, www.riccoartjewelery.com or may work with him directly --including remotely—to develop fine jewelry that reflects their unique preferences.
With more than 40 years of experience, Ricco specializes in unique metal designs. A recently-created line of diamond engagement rings features several original styles with one or more diamonds, available in a choice of metals:  14, 18 or 22k white, rose or yellow gold, palladium gold, or platinum. He has access to top-quality antique diamonds that many couples request now to avoid purchasing conflict stones.
Inspiration for Ricco’s rings and other fine jewelry comes from several sources: classical design, such as that practiced by the Greeks and Romans; the organic forms found in nature, and his personal experience of living and working in Greece, Spain and Argentina.
At a time when computerized machines have become increasingly common in the jewelry industry, Ricco's work is exceptional because it is all made by hand.
Ricco Gallery of Contemporary Art Jewelry has a physical location in a 1763 house in historic Shepherdstown, W.V., in the Washington-Baltimore metro area. For more information, call 304-870-4175 or write to: ellen@riccoartjewelery.com  .
