Green Friendly to the Rescue!

New Eco-friendly device hit with parents…saves water, energy and eliminates family feuds.

It is no secret that showering is one of the largest water wasters using as much as 20% of water used in a household!  Not only do thousands of gallons (and $$$) go down the drain every year, in many households with teenagers nerves are worn thin by excessive showering.

Efforts to staying green in the shower and manage shower times have largely been voluntary or ineffective with an array of devices ranging from hour glass timers to overly restrictive shower heads.    Other bulky devices require expensive retro fitting and potentially hazardous electrical connections.  While many households embrace the spirit and need for limiting showering times, the use of voluntary efforts seems to fade fast as that stimulating morning shower draws-on.

A Denver company has come up with a unique solution to control showering times.  It is a two stage device called the Shower Manager.  It gives the shower taker the best of both worlds, a full-flow of water for a preset time frame followed by restricted flow.  The head of the household locks in the full-flow time (5, 8 or 11 minutes) with a security key.  The reduced flow provides just enough water to finish rinsing, but not enough to encourage continued showering, says Don Brunkhardt founder of the company.  A 5-minute reset interval prevents the shower taker from overriding the system.
The unit installs in minutes and is powered by a small 9-volt battery. “In a household of four, the Shower Manager can typically save enough in water and energy savings to pay for itself in less than 12 months,” states Brunkhardt .

The unit is patent protected and is available only over the internet from the manufacturer.  For more information visit:  www.ShowerManager.com or contact Don Brunkhardt at 303-809-3758.
