We are passionate about making a positive impact for families and their individual with special needs. ur Sidekicks can come to the home, meet out in the community or attend functions with the family. We are here to accommodate families’ specific needs by providing the extra support that they can trust and peace of mind that they deserve.

Individuals with special needs are Superheroes for the battles they overcome every day. They deserve every opportunity to lead a happy and active life. Superheroes are fully capable of inspiring others and having a positive impact in our communities. Every Superhero has a Sidekick to be there for them in times of need!

We pride ourselves in having Sidekicks who are responsible, competent, and compassionate. By providing valuable mentorship, we believe our team can help individuals with special needs; gain confidence, increase social skills and become more self-dependent.

Our Sidekicks are motivated, accepting, and enthusiastic individuals. Each Sidekick is interviewed and are subject to background and reference checks prior to employment. Past experience working with individuals with special needs and a degree or pursuing a degree in a humanity field is required. Our Sidekicks are fully insured under Sidekicks Respite Care LLC.

We also require our Sidekicks to have CPR\First Aid training and attend a training session lead by our staff consultants. Our staff consultants, who have over 15 years of experience working with individuals with special needs in all types of settings, help coach our Sidekicks.
