StilMee, The Leader in Alzheimer Coaching, was founded in Quincy, MA, by Beverly Moore, author of the book Matters of the Mind and of the Heart. StilMee Alzheimer Coaches provide in-home coaching for family caregivers; educational programs and training; public presentations and assisted living residence support. The company works closely with families, day programs, neurologists, elder law attorneys and home care companies.
With a mission to help caregivers better understand a person with memory loss and a goal of helping people sustain positive family relationships through the dementia journey, the company has coached more than 3,000 families in the care of a person with Alzheimer's or a related disorder.
Available services:
In-home Coaching - A StilMee Coach evaluates the stressors of the caregiver and provides a personalized and private Plan of Care, helpful approaches and communication to manage behaviors respectfully and effectively.
Phone Coaching - Caregivers can call a StilMee Coach for real-time assistance, specific to the issue that the caregiver is facing.
In-Service - A StilMee Coach provides group training sessions; proper redirecting strategies, appropriate social activities, and effective communication.
Caregiver Connection Support Group - Beginning and hosting a monthly support group for caregivers, as run by a StilMee Coach, is available for assisted living residences.
