Custom bikini company Suits You Swimwear expands and relocates
Clearwater, FL – Suits You Swimwear, the company that provides custom-made sexy swimwear and contest bikinis, has relocated to Clearwater after 10 years in Tampa. "We're happy to be coming back home," say owners and founders Lucy and Clyde McCudden. "Clearwater was where our business started 14 years ago and it's always been very special to us."
The new Suits You Swimwear outlet in Clearwater is more than double the size of the old Tampa location, space that the company really needed to cope with the steady expansion of the business. Located on Highway 19N, it provides easy access from nearby cities, making it even more convenient for customers searching for the perfect contest bikini or sexy swimsuit.
Suits You Swimwear started when founder Lucy McCudden sold her own custom bikini to someone who had admired the one she was wearing. Before she knew it, designing custom swimwear had become a full time business, leading to the opening of their first boutique in Clearwater in 1996. They moved to larger premises in Tampa in 1999 and are now back in Clearwater again.
"Suits You Swimwear has grown steadily from the start," says Clyde McCudden. "Everyone loves the idea of getting their swimwear custom-made at an affordable price. We are unique because we design and make our swimwear right here at our store, so anyone can pick the design they want from our selection and in any of the quality fabrics we use. They can also add Swarovski Crystal to the suit if desired."
Clearwater provides a good base for sending their custom swimwear all over the world, say the founders. "We do a lot of business through the website," says Clyde, "but we're also a local company, so we wanted to offer something to people who want to come in and try before they buy. The new Clearwater store offers the best of both worlds."
