About

TBG Learning is one of the UK’s leading third-sector-owned youth and adult learning organisations, as well as a growing provider of services focused on employment preparation.

TBG Learning works to help people develop themselves, so that they can become self-sustaining in life. We operate at different points on the continuum of an individual’s life where difficulties emerge and support is needed. For some it’s early intervention to provide training when a young person drops out of the traditional school system, for others it’s developing their skills to prepare them for a job or further education, we give people access to the workplace through work placements and jobs, and provide them with support while in employment to ensure they stay employed.

TBG Learning provides services for people from the age of 14 years old, and throughout adulthood. We offer a variety of learning opportunities, ranging from basic literacy, numeracy and social development skills to specific vocational areas that will improve a person’s employment prospects, either in or out of work.

Every year over 35,000 people participate on a TBG Learning programme, where they benefit from support that helps them on their journey towards getting and keeping a job.
At TBG Learning we believe in ‘improving lives through learning’, which for us means supporting people to overcome any personal problems or barriers preventing them from working or engaging with society, helping people to recognise their skills and abilities, build on them and apply them to the labour market, and focussing on achieving long-term employment outcomes that enable people to live independent lives.
