About

The Professional Developmental Football League announced a return to action in 2015.  The league will feature two conferences, the National Developmental Conference and the American Developmental Conference.

“We are here to truly help players achieve their goals rather it be football or life skills. This is a league where we just don’t develop players but coaches, staff and to help supply that demand for great football”-Theo Hall, Founder

The first four teams that have committed to play next season are the Seattle-Tacoma Cobras, Clarksville Warhawks, Vancouver Blackhawks and the Miami Crush. The goal is to have eight to 10 teams in the PDFL with five in each conference.

The PDFL is 11-on-11 football played with NFL rules. The league is designed to give athletes, coaches and executives platforms to display and improve their skills as they pursue professional careers at the next level.

The league’s vision is to focus on giving former college and pro athletes a chance to play competitive football. Its ultimate goal is to get players an opportunity to be invited to an NFL training camp.

PDFL teams offer more to the community with the ability to advertise local business and create an attraction to the public, involving professional football at their doorsteps.

The PDFL was founded in 2009. A majority its players have backgrounds at NCAA Division I, II or III schools. Some have experience playing for professional leagues like the NFL, CFL or the Indoor Football League.
