The Tallulah Group Operating Model
The Tallulah Group is an independent PR firm specializing in Media Relations, Public Relations, Executive Positioning and Community Outreach. The firm is led by independent media/public relations practitioner, Patricia Andrews-Keenan. The firm is set up as a sole proprietorship.
The Tallulah Group is part of a network of independent practitioners able to deliver varied products and services in support of our clients. Services include but are not limited to media relations, public relations, social media, event planning, marketing, advertising, research and a host of support services e.g. photography, videography and premium items.
The Tallulah Group services are offered on a project basis or monthly retainer.
Patricia Andrews-Keenan is a communications expert with a background in media relations, internal and external communications and community affairs. She previously served in senior communciations leadership roles within the communications industry. She served as vice president of communications for Comcast and its predeccessor companies in the Chicago region and as Vice President of Corporate Affairs for the Nielsen Company.
Andrews-Keenan formed the Tallulah Group in 2008 to offer media and public relations services to clients including Columbia College Chicago, C. Cretors & Company, a 125 year old manufactering company based in Chicago and the 100 Black Men of Chicago. Her expertise extends to executive communication, serving as a company spokesperson, speechwriting, crisis communications and formulating community outreach policies.
In addition to her expertise in communications is a writer and public speaker. She has been awarded both Silver and Gold Anvils for her PR programs and is the recipient of numerous community recognitions. She serves on the YMCA’s Black and Latino Achievers Steering Committee and the board of the Chicago Children’s Choir and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC).
She holds a BA in Journalism from Grambling State University and is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School’s Executive Leadership Development Program.
