Thanet Lib-Dems are eager to see real and possitive change in Thanet. George Cunningham is the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for North Thanet. Russ Timpson is the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for South Thanet.

George Cunningham is Deputy Head of Division for China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Mongolia in the European External Action Service, a post he has held since January 2012.

Russ' professional life has given him first hand experience of the key issues in both the public and private sectors. He has worked in the military, public sector and in senior roles in the private sector. More recently, Russ started, grew and sold a company which employed 20 people across the UK.
