Top Level Developments

Marty Plante, owner of Top Level Developments, started apprenticing in concrete formwork and general construction with his father as a youth. By the age of 19, with his eyes firmly set on working bigger projects, he moved away from home to work as a carpenter with Penn-Co Construction—very quickly rising to his first supervisory on a 120,000-square foot shopping centre by the age of 20.

Marty founded Top Level Developments in 2002 after experiencing a variety of roles from carpenter, to foreman, to construction superintendent—working independently, with Penn-Co, and with Ellis Don. Within five years, and by 2007, Top Level Developments had achieved a reputation for professionally handling the challenges that come with larger scale projects, and Marty moved the business forward significantly from the light commercial and residential work that originally began his journey.

Since then, the company has grown to become an industry leader and niche provider of high-end architectural and decorative concrete solutions for its clients. The services they have added to their repertoire over the past few years have set them apart as unique providers of detailed concrete formwork—high-end finishes of both formed and flatwork, and cast-in-place pool shells for the custom pool industry.
