Yvette Pegues, M.ED, is celebrated worldwide for her 1st Responder efforts helping neighbors and nations, from Haiti to Oklahoma, in the face of crisis situations. Yvette is recognized as one of the Nation’s leading authorities on Traumatic Brain Injury and Arnold Chiari Malformation. She has used her brain injury survivorship experience to educate, advocate and train severely injured people overcome trauma to rebuild their lives, family and community. Yvette began working primarily in schools, alongside teachers and serving children with disabilities. Today, her Adaptability Expertise is critical to Corporate Diversity training, Military reintegration and (new & existing) Construction Accessibility services to help re-build lifestyle challenges of the differently-abled.
