About

About Comics publishes a diverse range of comic books and comics-related materials, including humor (such as Charles M. Schulz's Young Pillars), hero (Kurt Busiek's The Liberty Project), and how-to (Panel One: Comic Book Scripts by Top Writers), We also package comics for other publishers, and can create custom comic books for both commercial and personal needs.
Founded in 1999, About Comics has produced a select line of both reprint and original works. We are the founders of 24 Hour Comics Day, an annual international festival of comics creation. Each year, over a thousand professional and amateur comics creators take part, each trying to create 24 pages of comics (normally months of work) in 24 straight hours. The end result is tens of thousands of new comics pages every year.
About Comics founder and publisher Nat Gertler has decades of experience in the comics business, having written for dozens of publishers including work published by Archie Comics, DC, and Image Comics. A two-time Eisner Award nominee, Gertler is the co-author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creating a Graphic Novel.
