AutoPilot started in November 2008 and is the first and only company to sell the service of “automatically done-for-you” sales lead follow-up and customer relationship management.  The Company has developed a new fully automated technology, which transports sales lead and customer data from the client’s software into AutoPilot’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.
The importation of that data initiates automatic follow-up auto-responder emails, voice broadcasts, and direct mail campaigns with copy customized and written to convert sales leads and extend the life cycle of customers.
The service is sold as a monthly subscription or membership. In its first marketing phase, AutoPilot is focused on enhancing the ROI of national fitness and weight loss centers. This niche is projected to create $6 Million dollar annual revenue for AutoPilot within five years.

MARKET PROBLEMS

During AutoPilot CEO’s personal experience as a “Fitness Together” franchise owner, she discovered that out of 400 franchise owners, 70% of them were 22-35 years old and started as Personal Trainers and not Marketers. While interviewing other franchise companies, she also discovered that this was typical throughout the fitness industry. Many of these owners struggle with business management and marketing because their motivation is to get results for their clients (they focus on working in the business instead of working on their business). Due to their passion, they can make a good sales presentation, but they feel follow-up is “chasing and bugging people”.  Out of 10 leads, they may convert 7 into appointments and close 3-5 into clients. The remainder of those leads and their potential revenue (approximately 65%) is lost due to lack of effective follow-up. Additionally it is not uncommon for them to suffer from a high attrition rate in this highly competitive industry.

SOLUTION/SERVICE

The AutoNav™ transportation of the client’s data is fully automated; the client (fitness facility owners) does not perform any additional work or purchasing any software. Because the process is fully automated there is no need for additional staff to handle the data. The fitness facility staff continues to do business as usual, simply entering their sales leads and client data into their current software; there is no double entry.

All content is written by a personal trainer/copywriter and is informative, educational and humorous, yet written to convert.  To the prospect and the customer, the follow-up appears to be coming directly from the facility. These campaigns are programmed to run continuously, spaced out over weeks and months until the leads convert. As one campaign completes (and if the prospect has not responded), another campaign starts; such as a weekly health tip or newsletter.  All email campaigns have opt-out options. When the prospect responds and becomes a customer, then customer campaigns begins.
