Founded in 1988, Castle Craig is one of Europe's biggest drug and alcohol addiction clinics. Located just south of Edinburgh in 50 acres (20 hectares) of private park-land, Castle Craig employs 27 full time therapists and a 24/7 medical team.
We have 47 beds in our intensive detox unit and 74 beds in a separate extended care unit, where patients can enter a second phase of treatment. Over 60% of our patients manage to maintain abstinence after completing treatment.
We also treat co-morbid psychiatric conditions such as such as trauma, depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
Many of our clients come from other EU Member States as well as the USA and we work with the major health insurance companies
