My name is David Louden and my wife Cheryl and I own and operate Citizen Self Defense. We started our business in October of 2012 out of our home located in Portland, Oregon. Our purpose or mission for starting our business is the continuing passion we both have in helping people. Both my wife and I, and some of our children during our life have been victims ourselves of Rape, personal attacks, burglary, and even Home invasion so we can speak about this with truth in our statement that we do understand about being a victim of crime and can help.
After 25 years of working with the public in service and transportation safety, and the work that my wife Cheryl has contributed to child development and safety we felt that this was a good business for both of us. We don't claim to know everything or be the best at self defense but we are committed to continuing education and improvement and for this reason we know we can deliver what our company promise.
Our main Goal is to provide good quality information, and training on a individuals personal safety and awareness. To help in developing a sense of confidence in people so that they can defend them self if the need ever arises, and to provide a large variety of good quality products to help them achieve this
Our vision is to help educate the public on self defense and awareness . To prevent further attacks on innocent citizens, and to help stop Haines crimes such as rape, brutal attacks, fatal attacks, and child abduction.
