He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned his Masters under Dinos Constantinides and Stephen David Beck (Electro-Acoustics) in music in 1990 before making the leap across the country to study at University of California Los Angeles in 1993 and University of Southern California in 1994. "I carry forward an eclectic tradition of musical genres not just any single one," he says. "Music is forever expanding and this is what it will always do. It speaks to the hearts of the present, while growing into the future."
At 10 yrs. of age my parents encouraged my music making and gave me opportunities to play electric bass at festivals and teenage venues. Along with my brother as trumpet player; friends as drummer and electric guitar, we enjoyed these times of music making. Later, I joined the University first as a Double bassist, later as a cellist and composer of my own music. I conducted my music accompanied by full orchestra and many other ensembles- synchronized to motion picture while attending USC. Today some of my music is being used in recent films.
