About

The College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario (COMPO) is a self-governing body, established by the osteopathic manual practice profession to regulate osteopathic manual practitioners in Ontario in the public interest.

COMPO is committed to improving the health and well-being of Ontarians by informing the public and assuring them of competent and ethical osteopathic manual practice care.

COMPO examines, registers and regulates the osteopathic manual practice profession and partners with other health professions, their licensing bodies, and organizations.

COMPO sets requirements for entry to the osteopathic manual practice profession, registers osteopathic manual practitioners, sets standards of practice and guidelines for professional practice, monitors competence through a quality assurance program, investigates complaints against osteopathic manual practitioners and disciplines those members who have committed acts of professional misconduct or who are incompetent or incapacitated.
