The Connemara Programme was founded in 2012. It has researched Connemara in depth in order to deliver locally focused products and services to local businesses, communities and individuals.
The Programme advises the Irish Government, local councils and the European Commission on rural issues, technology and viable solutions for rural regeneration and growth
The key deliverable of the programme is the Myconnemara.com ( www.myconnemara.com ) web site which has over 12,000 pieces of information on a map based interface.
Additional products are the business support product Connemara 1000 and Connepedia which is the encyclopedia of Connemara that can be accessed using links at the bottom of the myconnemara.com home page.
